IntelliGENETICS, LLC is a privately owned and operated DNA testing laboratory providing DNA based parentage and forensic casework analysis.  Our facility is located at 24 New Orleans Road, 套房 200, Hilton  Head Island, South Carolina, 29928 USA.

IntelliGENETICS is accredited by the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors – Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD / LAB) for Forensic DNA and serological testing and by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) for DNA paternity, 产假, sibship analysis and family relationship testing.

General Services:

 
IntelliGENETICS provides family relationship studies under its AABB certification including testing to determine paternity, maternity, grand parentage and sibship.  Test reports from these studies are court admissible and used in cases involving child support, divorce, immigration, adoption, estate settlement and social security benefits as well as for individuals that simply want to know.

Forensic testing under ASCLD/LAB certification includes all types of criminal cases in which biological material is available.  The typical sample types include bone, teeth, tissue, body fluids (血, saliva, and semen), hair, mixed specimens, degraded specimens and contact DNA (触摸的DNA).  A wide range of case types are processed including homicide, rape and assault, burglaries and property crime and unidentified remains.

DNA analysis is performed using advanced technologies such as Applied BioSystems Inc. (ABI公司) capillary electrophoresis platforms, PCR and Y chromosome analysis.

The laboratory is operated by Dr. Daniel B. Demers, an ASCLD/LAB qualified technical leader and forensic analyst and AABB qualified director.  He has more than 25 years of experience in DNA forensic analysis and parentage testing.  His experience includes casework and contracts for Sheriff and Police Departments, Prosecutors, Defense Attorneys and Private Investigators.  It also includes forensic suspect and no-suspect casework and criminal offender databasing (Combined DNA Index System, CODIS), and grants and contracts for forensic and CODIS testing with the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) as well as state child support agencies for paternity testing.   Dr. Demers has many years of testimony experience and is available for case review and consultation.

The Administrative Director, Edith Inés Mandujano-Demers, has nearly 10 years of parentage and forensic laboratory administrative experience.  Ms. Demers acquired her training in the public relations field in numerous countries throughout her career.  She is multi-lingual and accustomed to working with U.S. consulates worldwide as well as police officials, private investigators, attorneys and clinicians.  She directs our Client Support Department and supervises all case coordination including domestic and international specimen collection and shipping, ensuring client satisfaction through our Customer Center.
