IntelliGENETICS is an ASCLD/LAB accredited DNA laboratory providing infidelity testing.  Infidelity tests include semen detection, sperm detection and DNA detection which collectively are used to expose male infidelity as well as female infidelity.  The common scenario involves a panty stain or multiple stains in panties.  However, sometimes the semen stain is found in men’s underwear.  An infidelity test at IntelliGENETICS can determine if the stain in a panty or pair of men’s underwear is semen and if so who it belongs to or does not belong to.  Our DNA testing laboratory can detect DNA in or on clothing of all types as well as objects such as drink bottles, cans, cigarettes and many more objects and items.  It is possible to develope male specific DNA profiles and female specific DNA profiles and determine the race or ethnicity of the person.

Seminal fluid (semen) released by the male during sexual contact may continue to be expelled for several hours after the sexual encounter.  Post-intercourse discharge of seminal fluid from the vaginal tract of a woman also occurs for several hours.  Therefore, following sexual intercourse, semen stains can be found in undergarments, bed sheets, towels, women’s sanitary napkins and other items and surfaces. These facts are the basis for the infidelity test offered by IntelliGenetics.

Detecting semen on an item may be all that is needed to answer your Question.
