IntelliGENETICS is a resource that legal investigators use to assist in solving their cases and bring in new ones.  Our DNA laboratories can determine the nature of the stain (is it semen or blood) and use DNA to determine its origin.  Our tests can determine if your client or person of interest is included or excluded as the contributor of DNA found in an undergarment, bedding, cigarette butt, drink bottle and many other items that private investigators encounter.  Private investigators can set up accounts that will give them the benefits of an ongoing partnership that includes direct and immediate access to the laboratory director to discuss the specifics of their case, consultation on a new or perspective case and obtain guidance on specimen collection and shipping.   Investigators with an account are eligible for monthly invoicing.

For the investigator that wants to utilize the latest technology in their practice, he or she has two options.

Option 1:

IntelliGENETICS allows the investigator the opportunity to obtain useful investigative information from a laboratory accredited by the ASCLD/LAB (American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors/Lab Accreditation Board) for forensic testing and the AABB (Amerykańskie Stowarzyszenie Banków Krwi) for parentage.  The final reports are court admissible and may be accompanied by expert testimony if needed.  Items for testing must be properly documented with a complete chain of custody.  The private investigator has access to the laboratory director and forensic analysts for assistance and consultation.  For instructions on how to collect, package and ship your specimens contact IntelliGENETICS.

Option 2:

DNA Match allows the investigator the opportunity to obtain the same useful investigative information as in Option 1 however, at minimal expense.  Using DNA Match, send in any item or items for semen detection and/or DNA analysis for rapid, uncomplicated and cost effective information.  There is no chain of custody requirement as it is solely for your investigative lead.  Your client can even send in the items themselves if you prefer to stay out of the link.  Of course, since there is no chain of custody, the final report is not court admissible.  As with IntelliGENETICS, the private investigator has access to the laboratory director and forensic analysts for assistance and consultation.  For instructions on how to collect, package and ship your specimens go to (Mecz DNA).
